The age of your new GF/Wife/Mistress

A famous French mathematician — I forget which one exactly — once created a simple formula for calculating the optimum age for a man’s next girlfriend, mistress, or wife:

x / 2 + 7

where x equals the man’s age. A table is provided for the mathematically challenged. (Note: If your age is an odd number, always round down after dividing by 2.)

I feel a right Burka!

Years ago I had a friend who said he was in the Territorial Army. I was never certain if he was or not.

 He was a little bit of a fantasist.

His favourite story was how he was in a field, and he saw a mass parachute drop. One of the guys chutes didn’t open and, friend swears that, as he was on the way down the parachutist had his legs crossed and was screaming “LEFT!” After he hit the ground and they came to recover the body he asked the other para’s why the man was shouting “LEFT” as he came down and they all started laughing. “that’s the way we are supposed to unscrew him after he hits the floor” said one of them.

 Sick, but you can see the Para’s being like that.

 There are so many people who live out their lives according to their own set of rules that I sometimes wonder why the Government exists. I’m sure that many others feel the same way.

People should be allowed to do as they please? No! That way brings about anarchy, the poor, weak, underclasses get trampled and lent on.

People should be controlled and authorised to be allowed to do things? No! That way,once again, people are victims. 

There should be a contented fortune teller….err happy medium. Is it right that Muslim women should be allowed to wear a Burka if they want one? yes.  Is it right that they should be forced to wear one because their husband/religion says they have to…no, I don’t think so.

Given the same basis of “happy medium” is it right that for national Security, we should all be forced to carry ID cards? I think the answer of “only if we want to” isn’t going to cut any ice. Maybe we should all carry cards, but I would object very strongly if I was actually forced to pay for one. I’m stingy like that, me paying for a Governments whim!

 I can’t see any way we are NOT going to have ID cards, I just hope that, when they do come in, it’s not used to carry data about yourself other than for the purpose it was introduced. Having to show your ID card in order to make a purchase in a supermarket for instance means LOADS of data. You can just imagine the sales people rubbing tgheir hands.

 This is the one where I can write stuff and not have to entertain, and be funny, and do MEME’s etc.

 I’m starting to hate that damn term MEME this, MEME that MEME the bloody other. When did we all start to adopt this damn stupid internet language? When did we all agree to use terms like “Friended” etc. We bloody well didn’t. Ganked, MEME, Friended can all bugger off and leave me the hell alone!
